I was delighted to be exhibiting as part of the North Atlantic Native Sheep and Wool conference in North Ronaldsay earlier this year. The exhibition photographs are moving to the Lighthouse café for the summer. I’ll be making more work about North Ronaldsay, in particular about the planticrues along the shore, the seaweed-eating sheep and the seaweeds – this is part of an ongoing interest in the island. I was fortunate to receive a Hi-Arts grant to help with the project. Image below of wool caught on a planticru.
