I have a micro exhibition of three new photographs at the deli up my lane in Stromness, Orkney. ‘Small World’ is a title befitting a tiny show but it refers to the images themselves. I found a heavy glass globe in the Red Cross charity shop, a crystal ball. Using it as a lens and photographing through it, everything became condensed, creating a small world.
The exhibition runs until the end of January 2014. The Bay Leaf Delicatessen off Graham Place square in Stromness is open Tuesday to Saturday from 9:30am to 5pm.
The photographs have been made in a limited edition of four of each print. The photographs are printed on photo rag art paper with pigment inks and are £150 each framed & any postage.
The prints are approx. 40cm x 30cm mounted in a black wood frame of 50cm x 40cm.
To accompany the exhibition there is a changing display of handmade cards of 50 of my photographs.
